Ivory Coast boss Herve Renard has called up Kolo Toure to his 23-man squad for upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The 33-year old Liverpool centre-back has been left out of the past few Elephants rosters since the World Cup in Brazil but has been given another opportunity for the AFCON matches against Sierra Leone and Cameroon later this month.
Rejoining Toure in the Ivory Coast squad is 117-time international Didier Zokora while Adama Traore, Serge Wilfried Kanon and Cheick Doukoure have been called up for the very first time.
Renard has also called on Manchester City ace Yaya Toure, Romam forward Gervinho and Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony as the Ivory Coast look to improve their standing of third in Group D qualifying in the November 14 meeting with bottom-placed Sierra Leone and November 19 clash with group leaders Cameroon.
