MLS Commissioner Don Garber suggests that Luis Suarez would be suspended for a lengthy amount of time if he was found guilty of biting in the North American top flight.
The Liverpool striker has been charged by the English FA for biting the arm of Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic on Sunday and is now awaiting whatever punishment will be dished out.
In an impromptu Q&A on Twitter, Garber indicated that if the Uruguayan committed such an act in MLS, he would be banned for a fair while.
"We talked about the situation during our Exec Staff mtg this a.m. He would be having a long time to think about it....," was Garber's response to the inquisitive Tweet.
