Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has denied a FA charge of violent conduct.
The Slovakian centre-half was booked retrospectively for an apparent stamp on the leg of Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea during Sunday's clash at Anfield.
According to Sky Sports, Skrtel has opted to appeal the charge, which could bring with it a three-game suspension, citing the contact with De Gea as 'accidental and not intentional'.
