Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has no case to answer to for an incident in last night's 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers.
The Slovakian defender was involved in a scrap with Blackburn youngster Grant Hanley in the dying moments at Ewood Park, just before Andy Carroll headed home the injury-time winner, with Rovers boss Steve Kean alerting the Football Association to the confrontation.
Kean claimed that Hanley had been struck by Skrtel but there was no substantial evidence to even hold an investigation leaving the Reds centre-back free to play in the FA Cup semi-final against Everton on Saturday.
