Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says he can understand that the clubs supporters have had a difficult beginning to the season.
The Reds are a completely different outfit to the side that challenged for the Premier League title last season and the boss admits it has been frustrating in the early stages of the 2014/15 campaign.
"It's hard for the supporters [to hear of transition] and I understand that," said Rodgers.
"It must be so difficult at the moment to see a team that for 18 months has been so fluent and dynamic. Now they probably look and see a team with maybe no resemblance to that in many ways. I understand that and there is no one more frustrated than myself."
Rodgers added that he is eager to get some of his key injured players back into the line-up so he can see his team return to the damaging outfit that scored over 100 goals when finishing second in the league last term.
"We just have to persevere until I get the squad back, until we have Emre Can back, Joe Allen, Daniel (Sturridge) and the others," he added.
"Then I think we will return to that level. In the meantime it's obviously been hard for the supporters and I totally understand that."
14th-placed Liverpool will be looking to bounce back to form when they host 10th-placed West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
