Liverpool boss Brendna Rodgers was full of praise for Jon Flanagan after another top notch display at full-back.
The 20-year old scored his first goal of the season with a strong finish in the 75th minute of the Reds' 5-0 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Sunday and his showing was not lost on Rodgers who has seen him flourish in his six starts since the beginning of November.
"He's an incredible young player," Rodgers told Sky Sports. "He's a wonderful example for any player to stick at it.
"He's a youngster that no-one has asked to take him on loan, apart from one team, and he's just played in the reserves and for the Under 21 team, but it doesn't matter as his attitude every single day of his life is incredible.
"Since he's come into the team at full-back, he hasn't put a foot wrong."
