Lille boss Rene Girard is confident that Divock Origi can become one of the top players in Europe.
The 19-year old Belgian forward is on a season-long loan with the French side after signing with Liverpool for £10million in July and Girard is of the belief that he can grow into one of the better players on the continent.
Girard is also sure that Origi is not living in the shadows of fellow Belgians like Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas who are all impressing in the Premier League.
"Divock has no reason to envy them, given his youth and his desire to succeed," Girard told RTBF.
"He's going to continue improving year on year, and I think next year he's going to be able to show he's one of Europe's greats.
"I think he's a boy who still has some way to go. Right now, he's at a club where he can grow by playing.
"He's a boy who has the makings of a great player. He has all the attributes."
