Injured Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva believes he will be back in time to prove his fitness ahead of the World Cup.
The 27-year old is out for around two months after sustaining ligament damage in his knee but is confident he can make it back for the Reds before the end of the season before pushing for Brazil's squad for this summer's tournament in his home country.
"I am working hard to be back as soon as possible and do well for the club," he told ESPN Brazil.
"Hopefully I will have the luck to play for the national team in the World Cup."
