Liverpool's Leiva hoping Pelosi makes swift recovery from broken leg

Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has his fingers crossed for young teammate Marc Pelosi.

The USA U20 international suffered a broken right leg playing for the Reds U19 on Sunday and will require surgery which is likely to have him sidelined for months.

Brazilian ace Leiva, who has firsthand seen the development of Pelosi who was recently added to the Europa League squad, was hoping the German-born Californian could return as soon as possible.

"I'd like to wish @marcPelosi a fast recovery from his injury today. He's a very talented young player at Liverpool," he posted on Twitter.
