Adam Lallana feels the spirit amongst the England squad will continue to lead to positive results during their Euro2016 qualifying campaign.
The Three Lions take on San Marino at Wembley on Thursday in their second Group E outing after beating Switzerland 2-0 in Basel last month and midfielder Lallana suggests the feeling is good around the dressing room.
The 26-year old, who joined Liverpool from Southampton in the summer, touched on the togetherness of the England players under new captain Wayne Rooney and feels the unity has them well-placed to pick up some more wins in their coming fixtures.
"The atmosphere has always been brilliant and a great place to work. With Stevie (Gerrard) as captain and with Wayne (Rooney) now, there's always a great feeling," he said.
"Obviously you have good and bad times. When you lose the dressing room's always down but we always back each other up and have to go again.
"On the back of a disappointing World Cup, the last time the lads met up they put in some great performances especially against Switzerland and showed great character and showed that we have got a great team spirit and a great dressing room."
