Liverpool's Dirk Kuyt has urged fans to be patient as the team endures a slow start to the Premier League season.
The Reds are already six points behind league leaders Chelsea and Tottenham but the Dutchman says the league is not won after just a few games.
"Look where we are after three or four months, not three or four games," Kuyt said.
"It's not important to look at where teams like Chelsea, Man United are Arsenal are. We have to think about ourselves."
Liverpool meet Burnley at Anfield in their next league match on Saturday September 12, following the international break taking place this week.
