Frank Lampard has sent a scare through the England camp just under two weeks out from the 2012 European Championships.
The Chelsea midfielder pulled up with a thigh injury during on Wednesday and will now be sent for a scan on Thursday to assess the full extent of the problem.
Liverpool's Jordan Henderson has been put on standby just in case Lampard's injury is serious with his possible absence likely to be a major blow for Roy Hodgson's squad.
