Liverpool's Gerrard: 'I will continue to fight for Premier League title'

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says he will fight and fight to win a Premier League title before his career ends.

The 33-year old midfielder has clinched the Champions League trophy, two FA Cups, three League Cups, the UEFA Cup and two UEFA Super Cups in his career but has not yet added the league title to his trophy cabinet.

Gerrard admits it has been a goal of his to salute in the Premier League since his Anfield playing days begun back in 1998 and will keep striving for that elusive piece of silverware until he is forced to retire.

"There'd be a hole missing in my career (without a title win) but I don't think I'd spend the rest of my life being irritated or annoyed or frustrated," he told ESPNFC.

"I don't think that would be fair on myself. (Since) I broke into this team at 18 years of age I've tried to win the title but it hasn't happened.

"I've got a couple more chances and I'll continue to fight for it."
