Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish admits he has to continue managing Maxi Rodriguez in a manner that allows him to keep up his recent scoring form.
The Argentine striker, who has scored 11 goals in his past 12 starts at Anfield, will play a major role in the Reds' Friday night meeting with Newcastle United in the absence of Luis Suarez with Dalglish admitting he needs to keep a close eye on the 30-year old.
"He's not able to play in every game and we have to manage him as best we can. But when he does play he doesn't give you many bad performances. He's a real credit to himself and to his profession.""Maxi is a very intelligent footballer. He knows how to play and he loves to play," he told the Liverpool Echo.
