Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has confirmed that he has undergone surgery on his troublesome hip.
The Reds ace flew to the United States last week for specialist treatment and to find a solution to the problem which first flared up this season in early Apirl.
On Tuesday, Sturridge went under the knife and will soon begin his rehabilitation as he looks to be fit in time for pre-season training.
The England international has made just 18 appearances in an injury-riddled campaign for the Anfield club.
