Liverpool striker Andy Carroll can't wait to get back in an England shirt and pick up where he left off last night.
The 22-year old scored his first senior international goal in just his second appearance with a deadly finish in the 43rd minute of the 1-1 draw with Ghana at Wembley and he is looking to deliver more of the same the next time he steps out for his nation.
"It's great to be playing again and to have scored a goal," he said.
"I'm here and ready to score more goals if picked."
Carroll has endured a slow start to his Anfield career after being purchased for a British transfer record of £35million on the final day of the winter market but is finally getting into his groove following a thigh injury and looks to now be nice and settled on Merseyside.
