Andy Carroll's mooted summer move to West Ham United is edging closer.
The 24-year old striker, who spent last season on loan with the Hammers, is set to leave Liverpool after passing a medical on Tuesday night which was confirmed by chairman David Gold on Twitter.

Carroll, who cost Liverpool £35million when he joined from Newcastle United in January 2011, will sign for the Hammers for around £15m.
