The 23-year old English centre-forward has been linked with a summer departure from Anfield with the Hammers showing considerable interest but a source told Goal.com that no such move will occur, ending any hope of landing the Bulgarian striker from Old Trafford.
“Carroll is not coming,” the West Ham source said.
“It is a shame because the club felt if they could get him, two or three other big names would follow, like Berbatov.
“Carroll is very much his own man,” the source added. “He will not be pushed into a move he doesn’t want to make and, as things stand, he doesn’t want to go to West Ham.”
