Jamie Carragher blames himself for Liverpool's narrow 3-2 defeat at Manchester United, reports The Sun. The defender was out jumped by United striker Dimitar Berbatov for the Bulgarian's hat-trick goal in Sunday's defeat.
"I was really disappointed with myself. I should have done better with the challenge.
"To come back from 2-0 was a fantastic effort.
"I thought we did well for the 90 minutes. We were not really asked too many questions.
"If you look at the goals they scored, Pepe Reina hasn't had a lot to do.
"It's a funny situation. Last week, we were not happy with the performance at Birmingham but got a point. Now we're happy enough and have come away with nothing.
"We've not started great in terms of results but a few wins and everything will look different. We just have to keep believing."
