Liverpool goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis is hoping he gets a call-up from the Young Socceroos. Bouzanis is eligible for both the Australian and Greek national teams but has prioritised and chosen the Socceroos as his preference.

The 18-year olds agent, Terry Palapanis said he wants an opportunity with his native country despite representing the Greek youth national team last year.

"He feels he's Aussie so the whole thing with the Greeks has just melted away. He was only 17 and wanted some international experience last year," Palapanis told 442.

"He wants to show Australia what he can do and his hoping to be invited to the Young Socceroo training camp in April to do just that."
