Liverpool's Balotelli would have to respect Lazio standards - Lotito

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has not ruled out a potential January move for Liverpool's Mario Balotelli.

The Anfield future of the Italian striker continues to be questioned after a horror six months since his £16million move from AC Milan in the summer.

When quizzed on the possibility of going after the former Inter Milan and Manchester City forward, Lotito did not baulk at the prospect but insisted that any player who Lazio signs would have to adhere to their values.

"Balotelli? There are a lot of rumours," Lotito told reporters.

"When I first came here, people ran away [from Lazio], now a lot of them want to come to Lazio. Whoever wants to join us must respect our standards."
