Ryan Babel would prefer a return to former club Ajax but at the moment the only offer on the table for his services is from Hoffenheim. The Reds have accepted the offer from the German outfit but Babel is hoping he will be used as part of a potential swap deal with Luis Suarez from Ajax.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish said: "Ryan is considering what he wants to do, that's his right.
"A transfer only goes through if three parties agree. He trained yesterday as if the conversation had not happened.
"There's no problem for us. If he's here there won't be any sulking, he'll be treated the same as everyone else.''
