Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is still in doubt for Sunday's FA Cup fourth round clash with Merseyside derby rivals Everton.

The Dane has a calf problem and Reds boss Rafael Benitez admits he is not sure if Agger can take his place on the pitch this weekend.

"He was injured," Benitez told the club's official website. "He couldn't train normally.

"He is progressing now by working with the physios. He'll still need one or two days, so we'll see.

"It depends more on the physios than on me - we just have to wait."
