The race for Exeter City starlet Matt Grimes is heating up.

Liverpool will rival Southampton and Sunderland for Grimes, says the Western Morning News.

The 18-year-old has been watched regularly by the Merseysiders.

Grimes, who turns 19 in July, made 35 appearances in League Two for the Grecians during his breakout 2013-14 season.
