A Bola says Liverpool have expressed interest in the Portugal international.

PSG are also keen on the 20 year-old midfielder, though any late move this week is unlikely.

Instead, there's an acceptance at Benfica they face a summer battle to keep hold of Fernandes.

The youngster's current deal carries a €120m buyout clause.
