Feyenoord defender Stefan de Vrij is Liverpool's radar.
The Mirror says Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has been closely monitoring the progress of highly-rated young Dutch defender De Vrij, who could become available in January after refusing to sign a long-term deal with current club Feyenoord.
Chelsea have also registered their interest in De Vrij in past fortnight.
