Liverpool return sealed for legend Dalglish

Kenny Dalglish's return to Liverpool is all but sealed. The Sun says it will be confirmed when he agrees personal terms with Liverpool's American owners.

Dalglish, 58, is poised to take a roving role after boss Rafa Benitez raised the idea with Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

Both Yanks gave the thumbs up to his idea - and now Dalglish will find himself advising on youth development, and in an ambassadorial position.

Rafa Benitez has ordered a review of the Reds' Academy system after Everton stole a march by bringing on Merseyside's best kids.

Dalglish, who won every domestic honour as a player and then manager, stunned the club when he resigned in 1991.
