Liverpool are eyeing Sporting Lisbon winger Diego Capel.
A Bola says Liverpool see the Spain international as a replacement for Stewart Downing, who is interesting Newcastle United.
The Reds hope to sell Downing for £5 million and will immediately reinvest that cash in bidding for Capel.
