Liverpool has renewed its partnership with gym equipment company TRX, reports SportsPro. According to an official press release, Liverpool has used TRX's various training systems during pre-season camps for the past two seasons.
Under terms of the renewed agreement, TRX will continue to serve as an official training partner of Liverpool for an additional one-year period.
Financial details of the deal remain undisclosed.
"Strength and conditioning training plays a key role in player injury prevention and rehabilitation," said Liverpool rehabilitation fitness coach Jordan Milsom.
"Damage to soft tissue is common in football, with around five to six hamstring injuries being observed by each club, every season. In English football this amounts to 90 days lost, and between 15 and 20 missed games per season."
TRX chief executive Randy Hetrick added, "TRX is proud to continue our partnership for another season with Liverpool FC. We are excited to support their training needs with our 'triple threat' of product, education and programming. We're excited to watch them compete for the most prestigious football championship in the world."
