Liverpool to remain without Sakho, Agger and Johnson for Arsenal clash

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that defensive trio Mamadou Saho, Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson will remain sidelined for this weekend's clash with league leaders Arsenal.

Sakho has a hamstring injury, Agger has a calf problem and Johnson has ankle issues which will continue to keep them out of action, at least for Saturday's home fixture with the Gunners.

"No, they'll not be back for this one, but we're hopeful that next week [they will be back]," Rodgers said of Johnson and Agger.

"Glen Johnson is making a great recovery, so there might be a point towards the middle or end of next week [when he can return]. Daniel Agger will hopefully be next week at some stage.

"Sakho is still out for a little bit, but apart from that we will be the same as what we have been for the weekend."
