The Daily Mail says Liverpool had scouts in the stands at Verona's 3-0 home defeat by Napoli on Sunday to watch midfielder Jorginho.
Napoli have made a bid for the Brazilian of £5.5million which has prompted reports that Liverpool are willing to match it.
