Liverpool are being linked with Hoffenheim attacker Kevin Volland.

Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung says Liverpool are interested in the Germany international, along with Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Reds have been following Volland since Damien Comolli's time in charge.

Volland is expected to leave Hoffenheim this summer, though management insists nothing is certain.

"He was actually leaving three years ago, then two and one year ago. But then he extended his contract," shrugged Hoffenheim chief Alexander Rosen.
