Liverpool have rejected a £9 million offer from Portsmouth for striker Peter Crouch.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp wanted to pay £7m up front with the rest in extras and pair up the 27-year-old with his England colleague Jermain Defoe, says the Daily Mail.
