Former Liverpool midfielder Joao Carlos Teixeira is being lined up for a return to England.

The Portuguese prospect joined Porto after his release from Liverpool and spent last season on-loan with Braga.

O Jogo says Teixeira's agent, Jorge Mendes, is now working on finding him an England return, with talks having commenced with Bolton Wanderers.

The midfielder's best spell was when he played on-loan with Brighton for a full season.

Porto coughed up €300,000 to Liverpool in compensation to sign Teixeira.
