Liverpool goalkeeper Alexandre Doni has rejected a return to Italy.

The former AS Roma keeper has been the subject of interest from Vincenzo Montella's Catania.

But Liverpool have no plans of parting with Doni, who is acting as backup for Pepe Reina and has settled in well on Merseyside.
