Liverpool have rejected an approach from Bolton Wanderers for midfielder Danny Guthrie.
The Sun says the Trotters wanted Guthrie after a successful loan.
But Liverpool plan to use Guthrie as bait for Newcastle in a deal for midfielder James Milner.
