Liverpool have received fresh encouragement in their pursuit of AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic. Reds boss Brendan Rodgers sees Pjanic as a potential replacement for skipper Steven Gerrard, who will leave for LA Galaxy at season's end.
It was reported last week that Roma had informed Liverpool that Pjanic was not for sale - at any price.
However, Leggo says Roma's form slide has forced a rethink from Pjanic's camp, where his father is a big influence.
And, after four years without a trophy, Pjanic is warming to the idea of a fresh challenge and a move to Anfield.
Along with Pjanic, Roma teammate Adem Ljajic, who famously was rejected by Manchester United after committing to a pre-contract, is also being watched by Rodgers.
