Liverpool recalls Gulacsi from Hull City for keeper back-up

Liverpool have recalled Peter Gulacsi from his loan at Hull City to help their goalkeeping crisis.

The Reds had just one senior keeper, Brad Jones, available for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Merseyside rivals Everton after red cards to Pepe Reina and Alexander Doni recently, giving them no choice but to bring Gulacsi back to provide cover.

Reina will serve the third match of his three-game suspension this weekend whilst Doni was red-carded in last night's dramatic 3-2 win at Blackburn Rovers, meaning he will miss.

Jones, who came on to replace the Brazilian with a penalty save from Yakubu, will take the gloves for the semi with 21-year old Hungarian Gulacsi on the bench.
