Liverpool, Real Madrid target Werner keeps door open to RB Leipzig exit

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has left the door open to a summer move away.

The Germany international has been linked with Bayern Munich, along with Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Werner told Sport1: "For me, the next season does not count. There is still so much to come in the near future, I still have so much to achieve with RB this season.

"We want to return to the Champions League, then I hope for a World Cup, which I want to do well in.

"And then I'll think about how it goes. So far I have a contract, so I do not worry about it."

The 21 year-old is tied to RBL until 2020.

But Werner added: "What does an agreement mean, I think the contract is enough. It says that I have to play here for two more years, I must, I can. That's why I do not think otherwise."
