Liverpool are believed to be preparing a genuine bid for Porto's Yacine Brahimi.

Portuguese publication O Jogo suggests that the Reds have enquired about Brahimi's availability ahead of a summer offer.

Liverpool have been linked with the 26-year-old Algerian winger for some time and are now ready to lodge a serious bid.

However, it is being reported that the former Granada wide man would command a massive buyout fee of around £47million which may hinder the Anfield club's pursuit.
