Liverpool ready to make move as angry Memphis holds further talks with Man Utd boss

Memphis Depay's future at Manchester United continues to look clouded after reports suggest he demanded further talks with Louis van Gaal.

According to The Sun, the Dutch winger is furious at being left out of recent matches against Crystal Palace and Leicester City and has moved to hold discussions with his compatriot regarding what the future holds for him at Old Trafford.

Depay's uncertainty about remaining with United has alerted arch rivals Liverpool who are reportedly ready to go after him in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has struggled to impress with the Red Devils since arriving from PSV Eindhoven for £25million last summer and there is talk that he could be offloaded after just 12 months in Manchester.

Liverpool are known admirers of Depay, having lost out to United for his services at the beginning of the season, and are being linked with a return bid for the 20-time Holland international.
