Liverpool are preparing a major January offer for AS Roma striker Mirko Vucinic. Itasportpress.it says Liverpool are considering a 25m bid and could tempt Roma who are cash-strapped and awaiting a change of ownership.
Vucinic has confessed an ambition to play in England this season - though favours a move to Chelsea.
Reds boss Roy Hodgson admires the striker and sees him as the perfect foil for Fernando Torres.
