Liverpool put on Shankly 100th birthday exhibition

As part of the ongoing celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of legendary Liverpool boss and football icon Bill Shankly, a new exhibition has been installed at the Boot Room Sports Cafe at Anfield, reports the official club website. Visitors to the Boot Room Sports Cafe will be treated to archive footage and Shankly memorabilia highlighting his time at the club.

The exhibition also shows the importance of the original Boot Room, which became the cornerstone of Liverpool's unrivalled success and dominance of English football.

The Shankly Exhibition will also house official LFC memorabilia from the club's museum, which is currently having a facelift in order to provide a more interactive experience for visitors. The museum will re-open at the end of October 2013.
