Liverpool's move for Rangers defender Danny Wilson is on hold.
The Mirror says the teenage Scottish defender has set his heart on a move south to Anfield and was hopeful a deal could be done after Rangers rejected a £2million bid from Rafa Benitez.
But Benitez's departure last week has left Wilson in limbo and he must wait to find out if the Reds' next boss will press ahead with the move.
Wilson has just one year left on his deal at Ibrox and Liverpool are keen not to pay over the odds for a player, who would be available for just £650,000 compensation next summer.
