Fulham fullback Paul Konchesky is being linked with Liverpool.
The News of the World says Konchesky has emerged as a possible target, even though Roy Hodgson is reluctant to raid his old club.
There will be no recognised full-back at Anfield once Emiliano Insua completes a £5million move to Fiorentina this week.
Konchesky, 29, has just a year left on his Craven Cottage deal and would be available for a cut-price fee of around £2m.
