Liverpool potentially without Firmino, Coutinho for Man Utd clash

Liverpool have been dealt a blow as they could be set to be without Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho for their upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester United.

The Brazilian duo are only set to return to Melwood on Thursday with the fixture taking place at lunch time on Saturday.

Liverpool will need to aim to win the game to restore confidence to their side especially considering that they are already several points adrift of the Manchester clubs at the top of the table.

However they may be at a disadvantage given that Coutinho and Firmino, who are key players, may not be 100% for the game.

The pair are expected to play for Brazil during their final World Cup qualification fixture against Chile in Sao Paulo which is set to finish during the early hours of Wednesday (UK time), before taking a jet back to England.

Since Brazil have already qualified for the World Cup, the duo should not try to over exert themselves.
