Liverpool are considering releasing Martin Skrtel for loan.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool may yet entertain another loan deal with Napoli for defender Skrtel.

The Italian side were reluctant to pay the Slovakian's wages in full when they made an enquiry to buy him outright earlier in the summer but they will consider taking him on a temporary deal with a loan fee.
