Liverpool are pondering an exit from their historic Melwood training complex, according to the Daily Express.

The report claims that the club want to integrate their training complex with their youth academy setup at Kirkby.

The Melwood and Kirkby setups are currently six miles apart and that is something manager Jurgen Klopp wants to change for the future.

The current setup at Melwood doesn't permit the expansion to accommodate the youth setup there.

The plans are said to be in very initial stages at the moment, but the Merseyside club is determined to bring both setups together down the track.
