Philippe Coutinho has suffered a minor hamstring injury according to the Liverpool Echo.
Coutinho was subbed off midway through the second half during Liverpool's 4-1 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday with a suspected hamstring problem.
After giving the injury 48 hours to settle down, Coutinho was sent for further scans and it has been revealed that the Brazilian playmaker has suffered a minor hamstring injury which will keep him out for the midweek Europa League clash against Bordeaux.
The Anfield club are yet to place a date on an expected return for the in-form 23-year-old.
