Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole has admitted his admiration for West Ham United boss Avram Grant.
Before yesterday's victory, Grant spoke of signing Cole for the Hammers.
"He is a good man - a football man who seems to know everyone in the game because he's been in it a long time," reflected Cole to liverpoolfc.tv.
"He had a hell of a job at Chelsea in taking over from Mourinho because Jose was a legendary figure at the club, but he did a great job. We were a whisker away from winning three or four trophies.
"We didn't get there in the end, but the wins to games ratio was probably the best in the club's history. We went far in a lot of competitions.
"He's a good man. He's trying his best at West Ham - he will always give his best - and I hope he can keep them up."
